Mise — Support

We usually reply within a couple of days.

How do I add a recipe?

Tap Add and paste a recipe link, paste from your clipboard, take or choose a photo of a recipe, or scan a Mise card.

What is Mise Pro?

Mise Pro is an optional subscription ($2.99/month or $19.99/year) that adds cloud import — paste a TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube link and Mise pulls the recipe out of it — plus stronger AI extraction for messy captions. Everything else in Mise stays free, and the recipes you've already saved are never locked behind Pro.

Is cloud import private?

Cloud import is off until you turn it on. When you use it, only the single link or video you choose to import is sent to Mise's backend and Google's Gemini to extract the recipe; nothing is stored and any uploaded media is deleted afterward. See our Privacy Policy.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Manage or cancel anytime in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or in the App Store. Moving to a new device? Tap Restore Purchases in Mise's Settings or on the upgrade screen.

Can I plan meals and make a grocery list?

Yes. The Plan tab lets you add recipes to each day of the week, and Mise builds a single, aisle-sorted grocery list from everything you've planned.

The imported recipe looks off — can I fix it?

Yes. When Mise isn't fully confident (especially for photo scans and cloud imports), it opens a Review screen so you can correct the title, ingredients, steps, time, and servings before saving.

Where are my recipes stored?

On your device, and synced through your own iCloud account. There is no Mise account, and your library is never copied to a Mise server. (Optional cloud import processes a single item and keeps nothing — see our Privacy Policy.)

How do I back up or move my recipes?

Go to Settings → Export to save your entire library as a portable JSON file.

Does Mise work offline?

Yes. Your saved library is fully available offline. A network connection is only needed to import a recipe from a link or to use cloud import.

Is Mise free?

Yes — Mise is free with no ads, no trackers, and no data selling. The optional Mise Pro subscription adds cloud import and stronger AI extraction for those who want it.
